flynas, participates at the first Saudi Law Conference as the Official Air Carrier

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, 30 September 2018: flynas, the Saudi national air carrier and leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, sponsored the first Saudi Law Conference, organized by Burhan Al Marifa and Lexis Nexis, in a strategic partnership with the Saudi Bar Association. The Conference was held on September 30th for two days at Crowne Plaza Riyadh Hotel, under the patronage of the Minister of Justice H.E. Dr. Waleed bin Mohammad Al Samaani.

In this regard, Director General of Corporate Communication and spokesperson of flynas, Mr. Ahmad Al-Musained said that flynas’ participation in this conference is part of its initiatives aimed at enhancing the concept of social responsibility through supporting various sectors in the Kingdom, in order to contribute effectively to the development of society and realization of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. He noted that the idea of the conference would shed light on many important legal frameworks for all members and categories of Saudi society.

The target audience of the Saudi Law Conference in its first edition includes public officials, internal counsels, heads of law firms, lawyers, CEO’s, business owners, wealth management advisors, compliance officers, investors and investment firms. SLC 2018 aims to be a platform where legal experts can share their expertise in finding solutions to the challenges faced by the legal system, explore recent developments as well as accelerate innovation in the Saudi legal system.

The conference’s main topics included the dissemination of law policies in Saudi Arabia, the challenges of access to information in a modern legal system, the latest legal developments in the Kingdom, how to encourage innovation in the information and legal services industries, Saudi youth’s engagement in the business sector and lastly the challenges facing the legal system.
