flynas together with King Abdulaziz International Airport launch “Smile for a More Beautiful Hajj” Initiative to Improve Performance
Jeddah, 12 August / 2018: In cooperation with King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA), flynas, the Saudi national air carrier and leading low-cost airline in the Middle East, launched “Smile for a More Beautiful Hajj” initiative. This initiative aims to motivate the airport’s employees from all the government and private entities to establish better interaction with pilgrims and improve the quality of job performance by granting free tickets to any local or international destinations from flynas.
“Smile for a More Beautiful Hajj” initiative includes conducting an unannounced tour during the arrival and departure phase, analysing employees’ interaction through the field and surveillance cameras and nominating the most deserving employees who perform well in service providing, rapid delivery, friendliness and serving pilgrims without receiving directives.
In this regard, Mr. Essam Bin Fuad Noor, Director General of King Abdulaziz International Airport, said that the initiative aims to urge and encourage the airport’s employees from various governmental and private entities serving in the airport lounges to enhance the culture of smiling and hospitality, improve the reception and welcoming of pilgrims and meet their needs as they set foot on the Kingdom.
He confirmed that this initiative is in line with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Government, which is committed to supporting all initiatives that serve pilgrims, along with unlimited support from His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation. He also stressed that such initiatives will create positive impressions for pilgrims, especially since the airport is the first destination of most pilgrims, and it is where the initial impression of the visitor is formed. He added, “we trust in the Saudi youth and their ability to create this positive impression and strive to carry out these initiatives in cooperation with flynas”.
In turn, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Musained, Director General of Corporate Communications and Spokesperson for flynas, said, “This initiative is part of our social responsibility to serve pilgrims and visitors by redoubling their efforts and welcoming pilgrims with a smile and distinctive service”.
Al-Musained added, “This initiative will motivate service providers at the airport to reflect the bright and honourable image of the Kingdom of goodness and kindness and highlight our authentic hospitality by providing pilgrims with amenities and warm gestures before returning to their home country with the best impression of the Kingdom, government and citizens. By doing so, this initiative will convey the authentic Arab and Islamic values in hospitality, and give pilgrims the most beautiful memories, as serving pilgrims is a great honour for every Saudi citizen”.
“Smile for a More Beautiful Hajj” initiative, in cooperation with King Abdulaziz Airport, is part of flynas’ “Your Smile” initiative.
