Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – September 06, 2026: flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, has announced its participation in the second edition of the El Alamein International Airshow 2026, taking place in New Alamein, Egypt, from September 8 to 10, as part of its efforts to strengthen its regional and international presence and participate in leading industry events and exhibitions dedicated to the aviation sector. flynas will participate in the exhibition through a dedicated pavilion showcasing the latest developments in its fleet and passenger experience, while highlighting its newest Airbus A320neo aircraft, which it took delivery of in August 2026, to joins the carrier’s new-generation cabin fleet, unveiled by the airline earlier this year, as part of its commitment to continuously enhancing the travel experience and providing higher levels of comfort and operational efficiency. Held at El Alamein International Airport, the exhibition serves as a regional platform bringing together leading aviation, space, and defense companies and organizations, alongside government and military entities, airlines, manufacturers, and suppliers, to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and explore partnership and investment opportunities across related sectors. In July 2026, during the Farnborough International Airshow, flynas announced the confirmation of its purchase of 25 Airbus aircraft, comprising five A330neo wide-body aircraft and 20 A321neo aircraft. This brings the airline’s total confirmed Airbus orders to 235 aircraft, in addition to 45 purchase options, for a total orderbook of 280 aircraft, as it continues to expand its fleet and destination network in the coming years. flynas’ participation in the El Alamein International Airshow comes amid continued growth in the Egyptian and regional aviation sectors, as passenger traffic through El Alamein International Airport increased by 57% in 2026 to approximately 267,000 passengers, while the number of flights increased by 26% to 3,190.
