Ministry of Human Resources Honors flynas with 2026 CSR Award in Recognition of Its Sustainable Impact Initiatives

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - October 6, 2026: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has honored flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, with the 2026 CSR Award “silver category” in recognition of its efforts to adopt and implement initiatives with sustainable impact across the social, environmental, and cultural spheres, and to strengthen its contribution to serving the community through an approach that links social responsibility to tangible and sustainable impact. flynas was honored as part of the third edition of the Global CSR Forum, organized by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Riyadh on October 5 and 6 under the theme “From Commitment to Impact,” with the participation of more than 3,000 attendees and over 100 speakers across more than 40 panel sessions. H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, presented the award to Waleed Al-Ahmad, General Manager of Corporate Communications and Official Spokesperson for flynas, during the 2026 CSR Award ceremony, held under His Excellency’s patronage and in his presence. This award reflects flynas’ commitment to making social responsibility an integral part of the way it operate and contribute to society, and to integrating social responsibility and the principles of inclusion into the carrier’s services as part of a sustainability program that adopts and supports initiatives with sustainable impact on society, the environment, and the economy, through numerous partnerships with government entities and international and local institutions specializing in social and charitable work, in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals. flynas’ recognition confirms the company’s success in developing institutional social responsibility practices and strengthening sustainability principles across its initiatives, as flynas is the first airline in Saudi Arabia to launch qualification and training programs to teach its crew sign language and methods for interacting with passengers on the autism spectrum. It is also the first low-cost airline in the Middle East to join the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. flynas, the best LCC in the Middle East and a leading low-cost airline worldwide, is the first airline listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).
