Makkah: if you’re coming to umrah or hajj you can go to Makkah by car which will be 4.5 hours away from Medina, or take the express train and arrive in 2.5 hours.

Weather in Medina 

Medina experiences a desert climate with extremely hot summers and mild winters. Summers, from May to September, can be scorching, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F). Winters, from November to February, are much more pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging around 20-25°C (68-77°F).
