Yanbu: Yanbu is a great place to explore the red sea and it’s unique sea life, and it’s only 2 hours drive by car.

Makkah: if you’re coming to umrah or hajj you can go to Makkah by car which will be 4.5 hours away from Medina, or take the express train and arrive in 2.5 hours.

Qassim: You can visit Qassim. Land of dates, which is only a 3-hour drive from Medina to enjoy your trip and learn about the Saudi date culture.

Weather in Medina 

Medina experiences a desert climate with extremely hot summers and mild winters. Summers, from May to September, can be scorching, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C (104°F). Winters, from November to February, are much more pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging around 20-25°C (68-77°F). It's advisable to plan your visit during the milder winter months to enjoy a more comfortable stay.
