flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, has announced its plan to qualify and graduate up to 300 Saudi pilots by the end of 2027, within the "Future Pilots" program and employment-linked scholarship program at flynas under the Wa’ed Track, which is one of the tracks of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program. This step aims to continue increasing the localization rate in pilot positions and enhance reliance on ambitious national talents in the aviation sector, running parallel with the company's expansion and fleet growth supported by orders for 280 aircraft.

This step represents an extension of flynas's commitment, since its launch in 2007, to developing and qualifying a new generation of Saudi pilots. This is achieved through specialized programs that combine academic qualifications, theoretical and practical training, and flight training, contributing to the preparation of national talents in accordance with the highest professional standards accredited in the aviation industry.

The "Future Pilots" program has achieved notable success in the localization of pilot roles, having contributed to the graduation of approximately 300 co-pilots by 2024. Furthermore, flynas successfully achieved a 100% Saudization rate for the co-pilot position previous-ly. Through its new plan, it continues to focus on developing national talents and qualifying them to fill pilot positions across various levels, including the professional progression track toward the role of "Pilot."

By expanding its pilot training programs, flynas aims to support its future requirements for national competencies in tandem with the growth plans for its fleet and destination net-work. It also seeks to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the rapid growth of the aviation sector in the Kingdom.
