flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, has announced the launch of new direct flights between Riyadh and Kochi (Cochin) in India, starting September 1, as part of the airline's international network expansion, in line with national objectives for the tourism and aviation sectors and Saudi Vision 2030.

flynas will operate three direct weekly flights between Riyadh and Kochi (Cochin), located in the southern Indian state of Kerala and one of the country's leading coastal and commercial cities, providing travelers with flexible travel options and strengthening air connectivity between the two countries. The new route comes as part of the airline's expansion in the Indian market.

This brings the total number of weekly flights operated by flynas between the Kingdom and India to 39. The airline operates flights from Riyadh to six Indian cities, including Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Mumbai, and Kochi (Cochin), in addition to direct weekly flights between Dammam and Lucknow.

The addition of direct flights between Riyadh and Kochi (Cochin) is in line with flynas' strategic growth and expansion plan, titled "We Connect the World to the Kingdom", alongside the objectives of the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to enable national air carriers to contribute to connecting the Kingdom with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and welcome 150 million tourists annually by 2030, as well as the Pilgrim Experience Program's objectives of facilitating access to the Two Holy Mosques.
