flynas, the leading low-cost airline and Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) have announced the signing of a strategic partnership aimed at providing an integrated travel experience by combining bookings for flights and the Haramain High-Speed Railway into a unified reservation system. This step enhances digital transformation and supports the multimodal transport ecosystem in the Kingdom.

This partnership enables travelers to book flight and train tickets through a single booking platform, facilitating travel procedures and achieving integration between air and rail transport. It also improves planning efficiency and enhances the value delivered to customers of both parties.

flynas operates 139 routes to more than 70 domestic and international destinations in 30 countries with more than 1500 weekly flights and has flown more than 80 million passengers since its launch in 2007, with the aim to reach 165 domestic and international destinations within its growth and expansion plan, and in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) is one of the largest railway transport companies in the Middle East and North Africa, operating a comprehensive national network that extends over 5,500 kilometers. The network includes four main lines for transporting passengers, minerals, and freight: the North Network, the East Network, the Haramain High-Speed Railway, and the Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro. This makes SAR one of the key enablers in the Kingdom's transport and logistics sector.

The Haramain High-Speed Railway is the fastest train in the Middle East and one of the fastest in the world, with an operational speed of 300 km/h. It provides the fastest and most advanced means of transportation between Makkah and Madinah in approximately two hours, passing through Jeddah, King Abdullah Economic City, and King Abdulaziz International Airport. The train station located inside the airport is among the largest airport-linked railway stations in the world, offering passengers a smooth and safe transition between the airport and Makkah in less than one hour.
