flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, hosted a gala dinner in Moscow to celebrate launching the first direct scheduled flights between Riyadh and the Russian capital on August 1, in line with flynas growth and expansion plan and parallel with the national objectives in the tourism and aviation sectors in the Kingdom.

The gala was attended by the Saudi Ambassador to Russia, Abdulrahman Al-Ahmad, and Bander Almohanna, CEO of flynas. The event was also attended by representatives from the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), the Russian Tourism Authority, Vnukovo International Airport, Federal Agency for Air Transport of the Russian Federation, and the Russian Ministry of Transport.

On the first of August, flynas launched the first scheduled air service between Moscow and Riyadh by a Saudi airline, with three weekly flights to be operated between King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, providing a reliable and convenient travel link to strengthen relations between the two countries and expand offerings for flynas guests.

The national carrier plans to increase the flight frequency to Moscow by launching more routes from other Saudi cities, aiming to boost tourism between the two countries and support the national objectives in the tourism and aviation sectors in line with Vision 2030.
