Under the patronage and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the Ministry has honored flynas, the world's leading low-cost airline and the best in the Middle East, in recognition of its exceptional excellence as a distinguished carrier during the arrival phase of the Hajj season 1447 AH. This recognition took place during the "Khitaamuhu Misk" event, held to celebrate the successful conclusion of the season, in the presence of His Excellency the President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, and His Excellency the Vice Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdulfattah Mashat.

The honoring comes as a culmination of the success of flynas operational plan over a period of 33 days, during which the company utilized its modern and growing fleet to transport more than 147,000 pilgrims from 18 countries across the continents of Asia, Africa, and Europe. The operations included intensifying flights across its main operational hubs in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, and Abha.

The operational activities of flynas during the season encompassed transporting and returning pilgrims from destinations across 18 countries, which included Morocco, India, Senegal, Algeria, Bangladesh, Togo, Mauritania, Djibouti, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, Ghana, Niger, Bosnia, Kuwait, Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, and Russia.

As part of its commitment to enhancing the experience of the pilgrims, flynas continued its active participation in the "Makkah Route" initiative, launched in 2019 under the programs of Saudi Vision 2030, to seamlessly facilitate the arrival and procedures of pilgrims from their home countries, aligning with the goals of the Pilgrim Experience Program to ease access to the Two Holy Mosques. Furthermore, the company contributed to the "Hajj Without Luggage" initiative, which aims to facilitate the transport of pilgrims' luggage directly from the holy sites to their final destinations, thereby easing the burden on pilgrims and enhancing the overall fluidity of their movement.
