flynas Participates in Syria Travel Show 2026 Alongside the Expansion of Its Operations in the Syrian Market

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - September 28, 2026: flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, is participating as a Gold Sponsor of the Syria Travel Show 2026, which kicks off today and runs through September 30 in the Syrian capital, Damascus, reflecting the airline’s commitment to strengthening its presence at international exhibitions and conferences specializing in the travel and tourism sector, particularly in the Syrian market. In its inaugural edition, the show brings together leading professionals from the travel, tourism, aviation and hospitality sectors, alongside tourism authorities, investors, cultural institutions, hotel developers, tour operators and travel technology companies. Expected to attract more than 5,000 participants, over 30 exhibitors and 20 speakers, the event features an exhibition and conference, panel discussions, cultural showcases and B2B meetings, providing a platform to foster partnerships and explore growth opportunities in Syria’s tourism sector. flynas’ participation comes as the airline continues to expand its presence in the Syrian market and strengthen air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Syria. In August, the airline launched direct flights between Riyadh and Aleppo, operating two flights per week, in addition to direct flights from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam to Damascus, as well as direct flights between Jeddah and Aleppo. The carrier currently operates 28 weekly flights between Saudi Arabia and Syria, including 14 weekly flights between Riyadh and Damascus, seven weekly flights between Jeddah and Damascus, three weekly flights between Dammam and Damascus, two weekly flights between Riyadh and Aleppo, and two weekly flights between Jeddah and Aleppo. In February 2026, flynas signed an agreement with the Syrian General Authority for Civil Aviation and Air Transport to establish a new commercial airline under the name “flynas Syria”. The participation in the Syria Travel Show comes at a time of growth in Syria’s tourism sector in 2026. According to data from the Syrian Ministry of Tourism, the total number of visitors to Syria reached 3.52 million during the first half of the year, compared with 1.67 million during the same period in 2025, representing a 111% increase. flynas, the best LCC in the Middle East and a leading low-cost airline worldwide, is the first airline listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).
