flynas Launches A Dedicated Kids and Family Check-in Service Area at Dammam Airport

Riyadh - December 09, 2025:

flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, announced launching a dedicated "Kids & Family" check-in counter at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, further expanding the pioneering initiative already launched at Riyadh and Jeddah airports, underscoring flynas commitment to providing a smoother, stress free travel experience for its youngest passengers and their families.

The "Kids and Family" check-in service features new, brightly branded counters designed to streamline the check-in process for passengers traveling with children, minimizing queue times and allowing families to begin their journey with ease. This pioneering initiative is a direct response to customer aspirations and reflects the airline's ongoing focus on service innovation and customer-centricity.

Last July, flynas became the first airline to launch "Kids & Family" check-in service in Saudi Arabia, inaugurating it at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, then rolling it out at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah last October.

Under the slogan "Make Them the Stars of the Journey", the dedicated Kids & Family check-in is not just about speed; it's about providing a more thoughtful, convenient, and cheerful start to their flight experience. It's part of the airline's broader strategy to reinforce flynas as the preferred low-cost carrier for family travel in the region.

The pioneering initiative offers a custom-built, child-height counter with colorful branding and visuals of the flynas mascot, Fernas. In addition to faster processing, the dedicated counters are staffed by specially trained personnel equipped to handle the specific needs of family travelers, including managing child restraints, strollers, and excess baggage related to travel with infants. Kids even receive customized boarding passes, explicitly designed for them.
