The launch ceremony was held at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on August 1, in the presence of Minister Plenipotentiary and Chargé d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in the Kingdom, Mohsen Mahbash, as well as representatives from flynas and Riyadh Airports Company. Passengers departing on the inaugural flight were presented with commemorative gifts, and Representatives from flynas and Aleppo International Airport also welcomed the flight upon its arrival in Aleppo. flynas will operate two direct weekly flights between Riyadh and Aleppo, providing travelers with flexible travel options and meeting the growing demand for travel between the two countries, after becoming the first Saudi carrier to resume flights to Damascus in June of last year. This brings the total number of flights operated by flynas between Saudi Arabia and Syria to 26 flights per week, as the airline operates 14 weekly flights between Riyadh and the Syrian capital, Damascus, at a rate of two flights per day, in addition to seven weekly flights between Jeddah and Damascus, with one direct flight per day, alongside three direct weekly flights between Dammam and Damascus.
