flynas Celebrates Graduation of New "Future Engineers" Cohort to Localize Aviation Roles

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – June 24, 2026: flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, announced the graduation of a new cohort from its aircraft maintenance and engineering program, "the Future Engineers Program". This initiative is part of flynas adoption of specialized recruitment programs designed to have a sustainable impact on the aviation sector, specifically aiming to localize jobs and reinforce the national carrier's reliance on Saudi youth. The company launched the "Future Engineers" program for aircraft engineering and maintenance in 2022. Its primary goal is to prepare qualified national cadres for work in maintenance and engineering. The program specifically targets Saudi graduates in aviation science, aviation engineering, and aviation technology. Since its inception, the two-year program has enrolled 57 trainees across three batches in 2022, 2024, and 2025. To date, 27 trainees have successfully graduated and officially joined the Maintenance and Engineering Department, where they contribute their acquired expertise to support technical and operational activities. The most recent batch joined the program in December 2025, consisting of 13 trainees who are currently continuing their training and qualification phases in accordance with the approved plan.
