flynas strengthens its fleet with a new Airbus A320neo aircraft, increasing its total fleet to 68 aircraft

Riyadh, August 13, 2026: flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, announced taking delivery of a new Airbus A320neo aircraft as part of its next-generation cabin fleet introduced earlier in 2026, aiming to support its growth and expansion plans, enhance the travel experience, and leverage the operational efficiencies offered by Airbus’ new-generation aircraft. With the delivery of the new aircraft, flynas’ total fleet has grown to 68 aircraft, all Airbus, comprising 62 A320neo aircraft, two A330 widebody aircraft, and four A320ceo aircraft. The new aircraft joins flynas’ next-generation fleet, through which the airline continues to enhance the travel experience with a modern cabin combining greater comfort and contemporary design, in line with passengers’ evolving expectations and the expansion of its destination and flight network. The new seats were developed in collaboration with the global company Safran and feature eight key enhancements, including integrated holders for smartphones and tablets, high-speed USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports with up to 60W power output, larger meal trays, a dedicated pocket for books and magazines, and a coat hook. In addition, the Premium Class seats offer extra benefits, including greater seat pitch, adjustable headrests, and a middle-seat divider designed to provide a more spacious and comfortable seating experience. The A320neo also offers greater fuel efficiency compared with previous-generation aircraft, helping reduce consumption and operational emissions per seat while supporting flynas’ focus on enhancing efficiency and sustainability. flynas continues to implement its growth and expansion strategy, “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” in line with the objectives of the National Aviation Strategy, which aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a global aviation hub, connect the Kingdom with 250 international destinations, accommodate 330 million passengers, and welcome 150 million tourists annually by 2030, all while supporting the objectives of the Pilgrim Experience Program by facilitating access to the Two Holy Mosques. In July 2026, during the Farnborough International Airshow, flynas announced the confirmation of an order for 25 Airbus aircraft, comprising five widebody A330neo aircraft and 20 A321neo aircraft, bringing its total confirmed Airbus orders to 235 aircraft, in addition to 45 purchase options, for a total of 280 aircraft, as part of flynas’ ongoing efforts to expand its fleet and destination network in the coming years. flynas, the best LCC in the Middle East and a leading low-cost airline worldwide, is the first airline listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).
