• Discussions Explored Investment Opportunities in the Field of Air Transport in Syria.

Riyadh – August 20, 2025:

flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, welcomed His Excellency the Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Mohammad Nidal Al-Shaar, the Director General of the Syrian Investment Authority, Eng. Talal Al-Hilali, His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Abdullah Al-Dubaikhi, and the two accompanying delegations during their visit to flynas headquarters in the capital, Riyadh.

Bander Almohanna, CEO and Managing Director of flynas, was at the forefront of flynas' high officials receiving the visitors. During the meeting, the two sides discussed investment opportunities in the promising air transport industry in Syria, highlighting the role of the private sector in supporting Syria's new renaissance, given the growing investment opportunities.

Moreover, the meeting also reviewed flynas' pioneering role as the first Saudi airline to resume flights to Damascus, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting economic and cultural relations between the two brotherly countries.

The leading LCC operates 14 weekly flights from Riyadh and Jeddah to Damascus, with a daily direct flight on both routes. flynas announced the launch of its first direct flight between Riyadh and Damascus on June 5, adding the Syrian capital to its growing network as part of the airline's regional expansion, meeting the needs of travelers and enhancing air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and various countries around the world.
