flynas, the leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East, launched a self-bag drop facility at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, in collaboration with Riyadh Airports Company (RAC). The service aims to enhance digital services, reduce waiting time at check-in, and ensure a seamless travel experience, in line with the company's digital transformation strategy.

The automated service is now fully functional, and passengers have started using it at Terminal 1 at King Khalid International Airport to check their luggage without staff assistance, taking advantage of reducing wait times and speeding up the baggage check-in process, often taking less than 20 seconds per bag.

The operation of this service demonstrates the joint cooperation between flynas (XY) and Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), as the system increases passenger throughput and improves overall airport and airline efficiency within the overall digitalisation of the passenger experience. The self-service facility can also lead to significant space savings in the airport terminal.
