So, gear up for your best vacation yet with our top six summer destinations - including both local gems, and those that’ll take you farther afield.

Jeddah

Jeddah is a haven for fun in the sun with family. Aside from several beaches like Silver Sands Beach where sandcastles, sunbathing, sea (and perfect pizza!) are plentiful, you’ll find many attractions for an awesome day out. For the thrill-seekers in your family, you’ll want to head to the Al Shallal Theme Park on Jeddah’s Corniche, Atallah Happy Land Park, or Jungle Land Theme Park. Alternatively, ditch the dry land for a splash by heading to Water Village, Aqua Park, or Sail Island. Check out our guide to Jeddah for even more inspiration.

Taif

Taif is a hugely popular summer destination thanks to a breezy climate, stunning views from the likes of Al Shafa Mountain Park, and natural beauty that boosts outdoor adventures. Let your kids roam free at Arruddaf Park, where they can twist and turn their way through charming water ponds and decorative water fountains, before finishing with a picnic in the sun. Other days might include a trip to Taif Zoo (where you can see the rare Arabian Oryx, no less!), or a day at Green Mountain Amusement Park. Take a look at our guide to Taif for more.

Dubai

If Dubai represents glitz and glamor to adults, it definitely represents a playground for kids. From standing atop the world’s tallest building (the Burj Khalifa), to taking a glass-bottomed boat tour in the crystal clear ocean - the mega moments to be had here will have your little ones talking about it forever. Plus, with the option to fly directly to Dubai or take a taxi from the capital of Abu Dhabi, you’ll have the option to tick two places off at once! Some favorite options for day trips in Dubai include Worlds of Adventure, one of the world's largest theme parks, and KidZania. In this scaled-down city, your kids get to be adults for a day (doing everything from driving, to attending university, and shopping at the supermarket!). Finally, why not let your child work off all that excess energy at Trampo Extreme? Discover more in our guide to Dubai.

Delhi

Delhi is known for its constant hum of activity, which may make you think it’s one to steer clear of for a family vacation. This couldn’t be more wrong! With so many friendly people, affordable places, and accommodating areas, you will immediately feel at ease when you spend your summer here. Delhi delivers an explosion of sights, sounds, and smells not just for you, but for your little ones - providing an eye-opening experience that will leave a lasting impression. Spend days showing them the historical monuments and colorful bazaars, visiting the museums, or taking a boat ride on the Yamuna River. Some favorite activities will be visiting the Deer Park, the Children's Museum at the National Museum, and Adventure Island - the best waterpark in Delhi where you’ll find plenty of gravity-defying rides for adults and kids alike.

Antalya

Whether you’re coming from the capital Ankara and taking the stunning 6-hour road trip, or flying directly to Antalya, this is the ideal destination for your family-friendly summer vacation. With an abundance of beaches and a range of unique experiences such as Sandland, the Toy Museum, and Aktur Park, there's no shortage of activities to enjoy. Additionally, Antalya is renowned for hosting some of the world's best all-inclusive resorts - if that’s the holiday type that you enjoy. From the comfort of your own hotel, you’ll be able to enjoy multiple pools, whirlpools, waterparks, mini-discos, and more, ensuring your little ones are entertained throughout their stay. Our guide to Antalya will give you all you need to know.

Vienna

While Vienna is best known for its rich history and highbrow culture, there’s more to it than that. Many museums and exhibitions here are kid-friendly, like the Museum of Illusions, the National History Museum, and the Haus der Musik. One popular activity with children is visiting the Schönbrunn Zoo, the oldest zoo in the world. With an average summer temperature of 20°C, it’s the perfect time to explore rainforest houses, underwater aquariums, adventure playgrounds, and see rare giant pandas!
