At the conclusion of its participation in the Hajj and Umra Exhibition in Cairo

Cairo, November 2014:
flynas recently signed a strategic agreement authorizing three agents in Egypt as an outcome of the Hajj and Umra Exhibition, which concluded its activities on 20h November 2014 in Cairo.

Megat Ardian, Chief Commercial Officer at flynas, announced that the Saudi National Carrier has appointed World Aviation Services, Deema Travel and Tourism, and AlTayyar Group as authorized agents for passenger sales in the Republic of Egypt.

This step comes amid an increase in demand for domestic and international flights between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, and after implementing an expansion plan in the Egyptian market, which resulted in flynas being the only foreign airline that serves seven destinations in Egypt, with flights to Cairo, Alexandria, Asiut, Suhag, Luxor, Sharm AlSheikh and Aswan.

Commenting, Ardian said: “Appointing three sales agents for our network in Egypt confirms our great interest in the Egyptian market and this step will enhance our plans to extend operations in this strategic neighbor country. We expect that this appointment will increase our sales levels and take over a larger portion from the travel market in Egypt.”

flynas operates flights between both countries using A320 planes with eight business seats and 156 economy seats. Passengers benefit from an increased baggage weight allowance in both classes, as well as in addition to numerous services in board.

flynas consistently achieves steady growth that makes it one of the largest airlines in the region. So far it has succeeded in operating more than 170,000 flights carrying 18 million travelers and looks forward to grow this number to 20 million a year by 2020.
