flynas expands its cooperation agreement with SGS
Agreement reflects flynas’ faith in national companies run by Saudi cadres
Riyadh, February 3rd: flynas, Saudi Arabia's national carrier, has announced the expansion of its cooperation agreement with Saudi Ground Services, which will cover flynas handling services and passenger services including baggage management and flight and airport ground support as well as other services in all of the Kingdom's airports. The agreement stems from flynas’ belief in the efficiency of national companies run by Saudi cadres.
The move is part of flynas strategy to develop its operational processes and apply the highest standards in the fields of security, safety and quality, which will result in enhancing the level of services provided by the national carrier for its guests at the airports, which is of the highest importance to all airlines since ground services are the first to be experienced by travelers.
Wael Al-Sarhan, Director of Marketing & Communication at NAS Holding, the parent company of flynas, stated: “flynas decision to expand its cooperation with Saudi Ground Services comes as no surprise due to SGS’s integrated expertise in this area and our faith in the level of services it provides. Additionally, the company is managed by Saudi cadres, which is consistent with flynas vision to provide all its services by Saudi youth and give them the opportunity to showcase their talent and competence in the aviation industry, as well as our commitment to cooperate with national companies that provide us with greater ease and flexibility in operation."
flynas recently announced an increase in the level of Saudization in all departments and leadership positions, which has reached 60% due to the company's efforts in the training and development of Saudi cadres to enable them to work in various administrative and technical fields of the aviation industry, fulfilling flynas’ commitment to building Saudi competencies as a Saudi national carrier.
