Mr. Al Hamdan Says to flynas Customers “Thank you for your loyal support and trust”

Riyadh, January 2014: flynas, Saudi Arabia’s national carrier, has concluded its most successful year to date with a list of outstanding achievements that includes carrying 3.3 million passengers in 2103.

Other highlights of the year were the airline’s rebranding to give flynas a new identity and which invasive its’ local and regional presence; the launch of the in-demand flynas Business Class; and achieving exceptionally high rates of customer satisfaction and on-time performance.

“We worked very hard to make a consistent progress during the recent past years and we reached a good step in the implementation process of our strategic plans and 2013 was an exceptional year to have various major achievements. I would like to thank all flynas customers for their loyal support and trust which was the main reason behind building on our success” said Group CEO of NAS Holding, Mr. Sulaiman Al Hamdan.

Al Hamdan added “we have carried 3.3 million passengers and achieved 91 percent customer satisfaction, which reflects our success in developing our services for the customers.  And On the Operational side, by December 2013, flynas’s On Time Performance has reached 90 percent, an exceptionally high result due to the excellent teamwork in flynas with the professional support from the General Authority of Civil Aviation represented by the domestic airports who worked with flynas as a one team to ensure all flights departure on time and to minimize the delay times.

“In addition to achieving the satisfaction of our customers, we are also very proud of winning two important awards that recognize the growing performance of flynas, the first award was the CAPA Aviation Award for Excellence in the category IT Innovation of the Year 2013, which flynas won for its customer-centric social media strategy; and the second was the Marketer of the Year award in the Travel, Tourism and Transportation category of the annual Effie Awards Mena for the highly successful promotion “Buy one, get one free” which achieved exceptional results.”  Mr. Raja Azmi, flynas CEO said

Since its launch in 2007, flynas has carried more than 12 million passengers on 110,000 flights, with the highest rate of passenger growth recorded in 2013 when the passenger load hit more than 3 million. The recent rebranding and service upgrades have given flynas the capability for further growth as the airline continues to expand by adding more and more key destinations to its local, regional and international route map.
