FLYNAS INTRODUCES ITS FIRST APP TO ACCESS AIR TRAVEL SERVICES VIA SMART PHONES
New application is designed by talented young Saudis working at flynas and offers booking, rescheduling and seat selection services
Riyadh, 24 September: flynas, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has inaugurated the trial version of its first app allowing users to access air travel services via iPhone and Android smartphones. The introductory event took place at flynas headquarters in Riyadh and was attended by information technology experts, social media bloggers and representatives of the media.
Commenting on the occasion, Wael bin Mohammed Al-Sarhan, Director of Marketing and Communications at NAS Holdings Group, said; “We are inaugurating this app with a trial period in which we will collect feedback, suggestions and opinions from a cross section of users who are experienced in this field. In addition, we had the pleasure of inviting representatives of the media to share in the introduction of this app due to our belief in the great role of the media as a key partner of flynas in the development of our services.”
Abdullah Al-Ghanim, head of the Information Technology sector at NAS Holding, gave a detailed presentation about the new application and explained that the official launch will be in the next few months when the app will become available to the public.
He went on to point out that application was designed by a team of talented young Saudis working at flynas, who carefully studied all the needs of flynas guests in order to develop an easy-to-use app that effectively covers all requirements.
Speaking at the conclusion of the event, Yazeed Al-Rasheed, the Brand Manager at flynas, stated that this step comes as confirmation of the attention flynas pays to the evolving needs of its guests by continuously developing and improving its services to facilitate the booking process, provide a modern paperless service and offer an affordable travel to favorite destinations on three continents.
