Riyadh, April 2015: flynas, Saudi Arabia's national carrier, has successfully upgraded its Navitaire New Skies reservation system to introduce new features that significantly improve the airline’s reservation system and other related supporting systems without any impact on the airport operations or on the flynas guests’ reservations.

“The main advantage of the upgrade is greater flexibility for integration with the systems of other airlines, airports and travel agencies, including scheduling and codeshare reservations systems.  In addition, the upgrade will facilitate any addition of new services to our dear guests.” stated Eng. Abdullah Al Ghanim, Chief Information Officer at NAS Holding.

Yazeed Al Rasheed, Director of Marketing & Communication at NAS Holding added :“I am proud to say that the entire upgrade process was accomplished internally within a very efficient time frame by a flynas team from different departments, who worked together under the leadership of the Information Technology department without any need of external resources. This is a great achievement for us and proof of the high level of professionalism in the flynas team.”

The New Skies reservations system upgrade is part of flynas’ strategy to continuously develop its operational processes and apply the highest standards to the level of services provided by the national carrier for its guests.
