Terms and Conditions of Travel to Saudi Arabia to Perform Hajj and Umrah


- General Terms:

  • flynas passengers holding Umrah Visas can book and issue tickets through the flynas website, www.flynas.com, on all available cabin classes.
  • flynas passengers holding Hajj Visas are not allowed to book or issue tickets through the website and are advised to contact the nearest flynas office or a certified travel agency.
  • flynas passengers who are non-GCC nationals holding Hajj or Umrah visas and arriving within code-shared flights (Etihad or Pegasus airlines) which are operated by other airlines will be accepted only at the following airports: (King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah) and will not be accepted at the following airports: (King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Prince Abdul Mohsen Bin Abdul Aziz Airport in Yanbu) .
  • Umrah Visa Holders are not allowed to perform Hajj.

“Visit” Visa Holders

  • During the Hajj season, from 10 Dhu Alqedah 1439H (corresponding to 23 July 2018) to 10 Dhu Alhijja 1439H (corresponding to 21 August 2018), all travellers holding Visit Visas are allowed to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the following international airports: (King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, or King Fahd International Airport in Dammam).
  • For travellers holding (visit or seasonal work visas) and arriving at the following airports: (King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah or Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Airport in Madinah) during the Hajj season, flynas will strictly apply the instructions and guidance of the official Saudi authorities
  • All passengers arriving at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season are advised to check with the Saudi Representations in their countries to ensure that the instructions and directives allow them to visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during this season. In case the travel request was refused by these Representations, flynas will not assume responsibility.

Umrah” Visa Holders:

  • flynas passengers holding Umrah visas and arriving or departing from (King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam) shall consider the following:
  1. The official airports specified exclusively for the arrival and departure of passengers holding Umrah visas are: (King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, and King Fahad International Airport in Dammam).
  2. They should have confirmed tickets for the whole itinerary, for both international and domestic flights.
  3. The minimum connecting time for domestic flights shouldn’t be less than four hours. 
  4.  They should be at the airport 4 hours before the departure of the international flight that has a connected domestic flight.
  • Flynas passengers holding Umrah visas arriving or departing from (King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah) or the Arrivals from (Prince Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz Airport in Yanbu) shall consider the following:
  1. They should have confirmed tickets for the whole itinerary, for both international and domestic flights.
  2. The minimum connecting time for domestic flights shouldn’t be less than 6 hours.
  3.  They should be at the airport 6 hours before the departure of the international flight that has a connected domestic flight.

“Hajj” Visa Holders

  • The departure phase of Hajj flights begins at 08:00 a.m. local time, each day according to the following schedule:

* Note: The departure phase is scheduled considering the month of Dhu al-Qa'da 30 days, regardless of the sighting of the crescent moon, until the end of Tuesday, 15 Muharram 1440 AH, corresponding to 25 September 2018.
  • (King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Airport in Madinah) are the ports specified by the Saudi official authorities for the arrival and departure of travellers holding “Hajj” visas, without passing through any other Saudi airports.
  • GCC citizens are required to obtain official permits to perform Hajj from the Saudi Representations in their countries, noting that according to the regulations adopted by the authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, travellers without “Hajj” permits will be returned to their home country.
  • Violation of the regulations and procedures mentioned above will not entail any legal liability by flynas, and complaints or claims by violators will not be accepted.
