The Saudi National Carrier is Official Partner of the event

Riyadh, November 2014: flynas, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, launched the initial version of its application for iOS and Android smartphone devices during its participation as official partner of the ArabNet Conference Riyadh 2014, which was held on 11-13 November at the Four Seasons Hotel.

flynas chose to announce the launch of its application during ArabNet since the event is dedicated to the world of technology. The airline provided a brief presentation about the benefits and services offered to users through the new application which enables them to book tickets and receive boarding passes.

Introducing the new application, Eng. Abdullah Al Ghanim, Chief Information Officer at NAS Holding, said: “flynas guests can use the app after registering and entering their personal information, after which they can take advantage of all the services it provides We aim to provide an integrated and sophisticated application that enables our guests to enjoy the flynas experience at all stages from the moment of booking to the issue of boarding passes. We welcome any feedback that helps us to further develop the app and we promise our guests to add more services and updates in future versions.”

Adding his comments, Mr. Wael Al-Sarhan, Director of Marketing & Communication at NAS Holding, of which flynas is a member company, said: “This innovative smart app is one of the technical initiatives that flynas has adopted to facilitate the services provided to our guests in line with the widespread use of mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, due to their easy to use features and portability.”

Visitors to the flynas booth at the exhibition that accompanied the ArabNet Conference were introduced to all the features of the application and expressed their admiration of the apps many advantages.

Mr. Al-Sarhan was one of the keynote speakers at the conference and gave a presentation titled “Creativity Journey” in which he stated flynas’s commitment to spreading the culture of innovation among the company’s employees, emphasizing that creativity is an integral part of the senior management’s vision, which is centered on the airline’s dedication to excellence in providing the best services to its guests and the community. Mr. Al-Sarhan went on to explain that flynas encourages its employees to participate in the innovation process through spreading team spirit and respect for others ideas and feedback.
