
Riyadh, 2nd November, 2011: With the Hajj season approaching for the year 2011, nasair, the low fare airline based in Saudi Arabia, has announced the completion of a successful project with Mobily, a leading mobile and data service provider in the Kingdom, offering co-branded SIM cards to pilgrims on international inbound flights to Jeddah. Over 50,000 Customers, travelling on over 400 nasair flights were handed complimentary SIM cards prior to arriving to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah between 16th October and 1st November.
With an expected 1.7 million pilgrims to visit the holy sites from outside the Kingdom in 2011, nasair and Mobily, two significant Saudi operators, showed their support to pilgrims by offering these SIM cards on nasair’s international flights. The SIM cards offered were equipped with pre-paid credit for Hajj travellers to call their loved ones and inform them of their safe arrival into the Kingdom.

The pilgrims who benefited from the SIM cards offered originated from countries such as Egypt, Turkey, Pakistan and India, significant destinations in the nasair network supported by nasair’s investment in religious tourism during Hajj.
