Transport To and From the Istanbul Airport

flynas arrives into Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, which is located on the Asian side of the bi-continental country and one hour from the city centre, Taksim. Once you’re on the ground the best modes of transport are taxis, ferries, buses and cars for hire.

Metred taxis are readily available 24 hours a day however make sure you insist on using the meter otherwise you may pay more than you need to.

Buses are also located outside the terminal. The airport bus leaves every 25 minutes during peak times. However if you’re heading to the city on a public bus you’ll need to transfer from the bus to the ferry and then to tram.

Istanbul Hotels

If you’re visiting Istanbul it’s better to stay in the heart of the city as this is where all of the attractions are, rather than near the airport.
