Chartered Flights

In 2011, NAS Charter Aviation was established to compete in the untapped market of pilgrims’chartered flights all over the world especially during Hajj and Umrah seasons. NAS Charter Aviation is considered the second largest carrier of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, supported by us, its sister company, flynas.

The charter flights operations are planned across different continents including Europe, Africa, and Asia. The group, NAS Holding, has extensive exposure and experience in the aviation industry. This led to the Government of India awarding NAS the Hajj contract through the Ministry of Civil Aviation for the year 1430H. In addition, extended dedicated charter services were also performed from Calicut and Delhi to Jeddah and Medina. The result was the successful uplift of approximately 25,000 pilgrims within the first year of NAS Charter Aviation’s operations, with 98 flights operated for each phase (a total of 196 Hajj flights). Indian officials were impressed with the smooth Hajj operation and excellent customer experience, especially considering that not a piece baggage was left behind, through the utilisation of three Boeing 767-300 ER aircrafts.

In the year 1431H, the Governments of Senegal, Cameroon, and India awarded the Hajj contracts. These included extended dedicated charter services from a total of 11 destinations within these 3 countries to Jeddah and Medina. The operations resulted in successfully uplifting 40,000 pilgrims with 127 flights operated for each phase (a total of 254 Hajj flights). The overall operation was described as a smooth operation with excellent customer experience, utilising one A310-300, two B757-200, one B767-200, and one A330-200.

Up until today, NAS Charter Aviation continues to expand its operations into different countries across different regions. NAS Charter Aviation has successfully operated Hajj and Umrah flights to countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, Niger, Cote d’Ivoire, and other African countries.
