Cairo, 15th December 2011: nasair, the Saudi National Carrier received support and interest from hundreds of visitors to its stand at the 2011 Umrah Exhibition held at the Intercontinental City Stars Hotel in Cairo on 13th and 14th December.

The nasair team, led by Country Manager, Mahmoud H Hammam, greeted visitors to the brightly lit stand, handing out gifts and updating all on the nasair services and products available to Umrah Customers using nasair flights to travel to Jeddah from Alexandria, Sohag and Assuit.

The festival for the summer session which is held every year in the Upscale Health Club came to an end on 26, Jumada II 1432, at the clubs headquarters in Alsahafah, Riyadh. nasair was present as an official sponsor of the festival, the activities of which went on for two weeks. There was a great competition among the participating teams in different kinds of sports in the competition like football, volley ball, basketball and table tennis.

The sporting activities were closed with the final football match between the Alam Alsafwah team against Insurance House Co. who won with a score of 7 to 2.

The prizes, which included free tickets from nasair, were handed to the winners by Abdullah AlQahtani from nasair’s products and services department. After that it was dinner for all sponsored by the club for all the participants and sponsors and the press that attended the final ceremony.

nasair are the proud winners of the award for “Best LCC in the Middle East” at the recent Third Media Forum for Arabic Tourism held in Cairo on 13th May under the sponsorship of the Arabic Countries Council and HE Minister of Tourism, Dr Monir Fakhry Abdul Nour. The event was attended by nearly 300 representatives from 12 countries across the region and the award was gratefully received by nasair Country Manager, Egypt, Mr Mahmoud H Hammam.
