nasair, the Saudi national carrier, is proud to offer passengers the option of receiving their Boarding Pass directly to their smart phone. Mr Francois Bouteiller CEO of nasair said on the announcement “No print-out is required; Customers simply show their Smartphone screen to the immigration, security checks and the boarding gate.” He added that nasair Customers can also select to receive their Boarding Pass by email, taking a print out of their boarding pass to proceed directly to the boarding gate.
Mr Francois Bouteiller noted that Web check-in and the Mobile Boarding Pass service is available for Customers travelling from Jeddah or Riyadh with Cabin Baggage only. If the passenger is travelling with any Hold Baggage he should check-in at the nasair counters as usual. He confirmed that Boarding Passes issued by email and/or Smartphone will be issued with the full name entered by the Customer when Booking and he urged all Customers to ensure they enter the correct names to match their passports (international flights) or national ID (domestic flights).
Mr. Bouteiller reminded that all web check-in Customers shall allow sufficient time to complete customs and immigration formalities and arrive at the boarding gate no later than 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
nasair CEO concluded his statement by saying that any Customer who has selected the mobile Boarding Pass and unable to access it due to technical difficulties, he should contact nasair staff at the check-in counters to have a regular printed Boarding Pass.
