Riyadh, 26th September 2012; nasair, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, has expanded its wings and reach by signing agreements with the world’s 3 leading Global Distribution Systems; Travelport, Amadeus and SABRE. The full content agreements will see nasair participate on a GDS for the first time in its operating history, providing a new distribution channel for its expanding routes and services.

Captain Francois Boutellier, CEO of nasair said “This is an exciting period for nasair. Our fares and schedules will now be accessible to many more Customers via their local travel agency, as well as to our Corporate Customers who book via a GDS and this has only been possible through the continued support of our Board and Investors who have encouraged us to invest in our systems to enable us to extend access to all possible Customers via all possible sales channels.”

He concluded his statement by saying “GDS participation allows nasair to distribute its inventory and fares to all Travel Agencies connected to the GDSs and eventually to online travel agents such as Travelocity, Expedia, etc”.
